Faux Parmesan Cheese
Top your pasta dishes and salads with this delicious and crunchy parmesan substitute.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw almonds ( 1 cup hemp seeds if you are allergic to nuts)
- 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 2-3 tsp Spice Islands Organic Garlic & Herb Seasoning
Instructions
- Toast the almonds in a skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring continually to prevent them from burning.
- Transfer the almonds to the food processor and add the remaining ingredients.
- Chop everything on high speed until a fine powder forms.
