Faux Parmesan Cheese

Top your pasta dishes and salads with this delicious and crunchy parmesan substitute.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds ( 1 cup hemp seeds if you are allergic to nuts)
  • 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2-3 tsp Spice Islands Organic Garlic & Herb Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Toast the almonds in a skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring continually to prevent them from burning.
  2. Transfer the almonds to the food processor and add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Chop everything on high speed until a fine powder forms.
