Decadent Plant-Based Desserts
We do not make a lot of plant-based desserts for a number of reasons.
- They can be very expensive.
- They tend to be time-consuming.
- Though made from whole plant-based ingredients, some of those ingredients are high in calorie density (like nuts), and they require lots of processing or breaking down of those ingredients—which increases the overall calorie density. (They are called "decadent desserts" for a reason, even if they are plant-based!)
All this being said, on occasion (3-4 times a year) we will indulge. These are some of our family's favorites.
