Apple-Raisin Cookie Balls
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 cups oats (reserve ½ cup for the last pulse)
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup dried apples (reserve ¼ to ½ cup). I use the ones from the bishop's storehouse. They are very dry and crunchy.
- ½ cup walnuts (reserve for last pulse)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the food processor if you don’t mind it all pulverized. I prefer to reserve ½ cup oats, ¼ cup dried apples and the walnuts and add them at the end for a bit more texture.
- Roll into balls. If they have a hard time sticking together you can add a bit more applesauce a little at a time.
Notes
- You can freeze the finished balls to help them retain their shape and freshness.
